Something wrong with your HVAC system?
Need help troubleshooting?
At Forge Property Solutions, we’ve been buying, selling, and fixing properties for quite some time now in Stockton.
Over that time, we’ve learned a thing or two about troubleshooting HVAC systems.
So we thought we’d offer a bit of advice here.
And just to be clear, HVAC stands for “heating, ventilation, and air conditioning” — so that’s what we’re talking about.
Here are some troubleshooting tips to try before you call a professional…
Air Filters — If your HVAC system isn’t running like it should, the first thing you should do is check the filters to make sure they don’t need replacing.
Vents — Make sure there aren’t any blockages at the air vents!
Thermostat — Your thermostat can be the source of your HVAC system. Change the batteries and/or make sure the temperature settings haven’t been changed.
Circuit Breakers — It’s also a good idea to check your circuit breakers. The HVAC system losing power is an easy problem to fix but an equally easy one to overlook.
Reset System — If the problem persists, try resetting your HVAC system. You’ll need to reference your owner’s manual to learn how to do this.
If all else fails, call in a professional.
And if you want to skip the repairs and sell your home fast for cash, give us a call at 209-231-6222 — we can make you a cash offer within 48 hours and close in as little as two weeks!
